Whether we like it or not, Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) is a growing holiday shopping phenomenon. So much so that consumers are now making sure that they grab the bargains necessary for their Christmas Trees during this weekend - it is worth noting though that major retailers have been extending their offers for bargain-hunters long before and after the event - a trend which is changing what our high streets look like during the festive season.

It is called Black Friday because it moves retailers from being "in the red" to being profitable. What happens after that period is another story.

Every retailer needs to be prepared for this holiday event.
